I am a graphic designer and illustrator with eight years of experience. I have had a great passion for art and design since my early years. Although my undergraduate studies were in Painting, I started an elective course in graphic design, in my third year at the university, where I studied design principles through using 2Ds, 3Ds, and video software. After graduation, I occupied multiple positions as a graphic designer, in Egypt and the Gulf Region, as well as other positions that were not related mainly to graphic design, but some of my responsibilities required me to create flyers and portfolios. In 2012, I studied an online course in fashion illustration, through which I became able to execute different fabric textures and materials using Adobe Illustrator. This course enabled me of working as a graphic designer in a garments company, where I designed textile patterns for furniture fabric as a new production line, for three years. In 2018, I worked as an intern at an art gallery, in Dubai, where I designed a branding guide for the gallery, as one of my job tasks. Throughout the years 2017-2019, I was a freelance graphic designer for a company in Saudi Arabia, where I created logos, merchandising designs, events portfolios, and cartoon characters. In 2020, throughout the lock down period, I studied an online course in Print and Digital Elements of Design: Branding and User Experience, from University of Colorado Boulder, and a course in marketing from University of Pennsylvania. In addition, I studied another online course in Logo Design: From Concept to Presentation, from Chermayeff & Geismar. These courses broadened my experience and skills in the field, and made me aware of all the necessary measures should be conducted in designing a visual message for different marketing strategies.
